Adopt-a-Hydrant Program

The Cambridge Fire Department is asking for your help to support our City's hydrants. Our Adopt-a-Hydrant program lets you search for a hydrant near an address (your home, business, school, etc.) and commit to keeping it free of snow and accessible throughout the winter season. With over 1900 hydrants in the city, after a snow storm it takes time to ensure all are accessible in case of an emergency.  With your help, together we can keep that time to a minimum and everyone in Cambridge that much safer.  Please click on the link below if you'd like to help out.
