Cambridge City Hall with Orange Sunset by Kyle Klein
Open Houses will be held at All Cambridge Fire Houses (except Station 8)* on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31, from 2-4 p.m. All are welcome. Kids are invited to wear their costumes, drop in to visit with the firefighters and check out the apparatus and equipment.

Candy donated by Cambridge Brands will be distributed to the trick or treating children.

*Note that there will be NO open house at the Temporary Station 8 Fire House on Smith Place. Permanent Station 8 in Taylor Square is CLOSED for reconstruction.

Please note that if firefighters are called out to an emergency response, there may be no one in the fire house at that time.

For general Trick or Treating Safety, all kids are reminded to wear reflective colors, carry a flashlight when it gets dark, and use extra caution crossing streets. Young children should be accompanied by an adult or responsible older kid. Any treats given to kids should be checked out by an adult.

To prevent the chance of fires and injuries in our congested city, open flames should never be used as Halloween decorations or costumes.
