August 24, 2021: Three alarms, Box 3-91, were ordered for the fire in the commercial building at 617 Concord Av. Time of the initial alarm was 716 pm.
Approximately 90 firefighters from 10 engines, 6 ladders, 2 squads, and the Rescue fought the fire. Firefighters fully dressed in PPE (personal protective equipment) and SCBA (self contained breathing apparatus) worked for an extensive period in conditions of high heat and humidity.
