2019 Electric Vehicle Ride & Drive Event

Curious about what it is like to drive a plug-in electric vehicle (EV)? Take an EV for a test drive at the EV Ride & Drive Event!

The EV Ride & Drive Event will take place during Danehy Park Family Day on Saturday, September 14th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the New Street lot (87 New St.) adjacent to Danehy Park. This educational event offers licensed drivers the chance to test drive a variety of EVs, including models from BMW, Chevrolet, Honda, Nissan, Toyota and more. In addition to test driving the EVs, attendees can learn about EV charging and maintenance, as well as state and federal incentives and rebates (up to $10,000) available to EV owners.

A valid driver's license is required to test drive an EV.

The event is part of National Drive Electric Week. For more details and to register for the event, click here
