Porter Square Transportation Safety

May, 2018:

  • On May 8th, 2018 a Community Meeting was held to provide project updates to the proposed intersection design after incorporating feedback from the January 2018 community meeting. Here is a link to the presentation which was shown at the meeting, which highlights those changes which were made as a result of the public comment and feedback. The presentation also provides information on the project scope and history. 

January, 2018:

  • On January 18th, 2018 a Community Meeting was held at Lesley University to discuss the Porter Square Transportation Project at large. Traffic, Parking, and Transportation Department staff presented on the project's history, the March 2016 Traffic Study results, existing intersection conditions, and the proposed design to improve safety and efficiency for all users of the intersection. June, 2016:

  • On June 16th, 2016 Traffic, Parking, and Transportation Department staff presented draft findings from the Porter Square Traffic Study at a meeting of the Porter Square Neighborhood Association. The presentation can be found here.
