Join us for the debut of the 2018 collection from Cambridge Arts’ Community Supported Art program at La Fábrica Central in Cambridge's Central Square on Thursday, Nov. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. Meet this year’s artists: Jessica Caponigro, Emily Cobb, Xian Ho, Peter McCarthy, Susan Murie, Leah Pillsbury, and Cory Shea. See the paintings, cyanotype prints, a ritual performance, monoprints, artist’s books, kiln-formed glass and digital art combined with ceramics that they have been creating. Admission is free. Community Supported Art takes the model of buying a farm share to help support agriculture and adapts it to supporting art-making. Instead of buying locally-grown produce, you get art made right here, available at reasonable prices. Order online now for pickup at the party:

At our Harvest Party, in addition to this year’s collection, you’ll also have the opportunity to consider artworks created during the previous two sessions by Nancy Beams, Cicely Carew, Nancy Hart, Tanya Hayes Lee, Boriana Kantcheva, Shin Maeng, Judith Motzkin, Hiroko Okahashi, Nina Pattek, Mireli Books, Marcia Cohen, Estelle Disch, Melissa Glick, Linda Haas, Janet Malenfant, Margarette Mattos, Anne Plaisance, and Deidre Tao.
Light food will be served, plus we’ll have a cash bar.
All the artworks will be available for sale at the Harvest party. Assemble your own Art Share of 3 or more pieces from 25 exquisite projects. Prices begin at $150.
“Community Supported Art is a terrific and simple way to become a collector of original art while supporting the artists who are part of the innovation economy in Cambridge,” says Jason Weeks, Executive Director of Cambridge Arts.
