Cambridge Arts is now accepting applications for our 2018-2019 grant cycle. We make annual financial awards to support projects by individual artists and organizations as well as to support access to professional arts and culture events for Cambridge youth. There's no fee to apply. Please see our grant guidelines for more information: cambridgeartscouncil.org/grants. Deadline to apply: Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, at 11:59 p.m.

Deadline for Eligibility Letters for Projects involving Cambridge Public Schools or Public Art: Friday, Sept. 14, 2018, at noon.

This cycle, the City of Cambridge and the Mass Cultural Council, as part of its statewide Local Cultural Council program, together are anticipated to invest over $70,000 in the Cambridge Arts Grant Program. “With robust financial support, the City of Cambridge demonstrates our deep commitment to supporting the vital role of arts in our community,” says Jason Weeks, Executive Director of the Cambridge Arts Council.

Applications must be submitted online; paper applications will not be accepted.

Grant Writing Workshop

Free. Prior review panelists and Cambridge Arts staff provide insight into the grant review process and tips for preparing a successful application. Individual coaching provided for applicants who bring a draft of their grant proposal. Advance registration is required.  RSVP to jkitchen@cambridgema.gov by Sept. 12, 2018.
