Early Bird Singers

The Early Bird Singers are a non-auditioned group of students in grades 3-5 from the Peabody School, Cambridge Public Schools. Students who participate in Early Bird Singers rehearse twice weekly and function as a co-curricular activity to the Peabody School's high frequency Kodály-Inspired music program. Its mission is to educate students in proper vocal technique, enhance music literacy, foster an appreciation for diverse quality repertoire, and create meaningful and joyful musical experiences.

The FMA Chorus is a mixed grade choir consisting of children in grades 3-5. The children sing songs in a variety of languages and genres.

Putnam Avenue Upper School (PAUS) Drumline

The Putnam Avenue Upper School Drumline is a loud and proud part of the school community. Students range from grades 6 - 8 and commit their time after school to practicing the beats that are meant to make you move!

Cambridge Guitar and Flute Chambler Ensemble Rindge & Latin School Big Band

The flute and guitar trio has performed together for the last school year as part of the Chamber Music Collaboration at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School directed by Laura Umbro. Its members include Jade Buckwalter and Ella Spitz on flute and Becca Bogstad on classical guitar. They have had the pleasure of being coached by members of Radius Ensemble, though chamber rehearsals are primarily student-driven.

Cambridge Cringe & Laughter 

Cambridge Cringe and Laughter is Cambridge Rindge and Latin School’s improv comedy troupe. Be prepared to laugh!

Cambridge Rindge & Latin School Big Band 

This large jazz ensemble consists of twenty high school students from the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School. They perform various arrangements of swing, latin, funk, and contemporary jazz music under the direction of Mr. Nathan Powers. Their high energy driven rhythm section with vocalist, big brass sound, and silky saxophones is known to be very contagious. You may find yourself wanting to dance during their set. Don't miss you chance to see this year's CRLS Big Band perform!

Cambridge Rindge and Latin School Modern Dance Company

CRLS Modern Dance Company is an after-school course at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School comprised of 100 students each semester. Dancers learn and perform dances created by students, faculty, and professional guest artists.

Cambridge Rindge and Latin School Musical Theater

The Cambridge Rindge and Latin School Musical Theater Performance class will perform a selection of material from various musicals. This class explores the tools a performer might use to convincingly perform a character from the musical theater canon.

Cambridge Rindge & Latin School Vocal Ensemble

Vocal Ensemble is an advanced choir for Cambridge Rindge and Latin students committed to singing music from variety of styles. During the Spring 2019 semester, the Vocal Ensemble performed a jazz set at La Fabrica and a classical program at their Spring Concert. Most students from the class are also active in extracurricular activities in the school and the community.
