Stay off the Ice!

The ice on the Charles River, on our canals, and on Fresh Pond is not safe!
Don't be tempted to walk or skate on the ice.
The only safe ice is at the rink!
If a person or dog is on the ice or in the water, don't attempt a rescue.
Call 911 right away. Highly trained & properly equipped firefighters will be quickly dispatched by
Emergency Communications to make that rescue.
After you make the call to 911, remain on scene to point out the exact emergency location to first repsonders.
Be sensible, be safe and keep your dog safe too!
