On Sunday morning, April 9, 2023, a "working fire" Box 45-3561, was ordered for 812 Memorial Drive, a high-rise residential building, a fire in an apartment on floor 17.
Arriving with "smoke showing" from floor 17, firefighters from 4 engines, 3 ladders, 2 squads, Rescue 1, & 2 division chiefs worked to quickly contain & extinguish the fire while completing searches for residents, establishing a water supply, overhauling & ventilating. Most residents were
protected in place.
