In collaboration with Cambridge Public Health Department, the Cambridge Police Department will be participating in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Cambridge residents can bring unused or unwanted prescription drugs Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. to the Cambridge Police Department, 125 Sixth Street.

For those who cannot attend the event, any unused medications may be deposited anonymously 24-hours a day, 7 days a week in the drop box located in the first floor lobby of the police station’s Records Unit.

The following items will be accepted:

  • Prescription & Over-the-Counter Medications
  • Medication Samples
  • Vitamins
  • Veterinary Medications
  • Narcotics
