Description

Are you worried about overdoses happening where you work or live? Wondering how you can help prevent an overdose?

Come and learn skills that could save lives. The Cambridge Public Health Department and the Somerville Prevention Services offer free virtual overdose prevention and response trainings on a monthly basis to the community and free on-site trainings for groups by appointment.

This comprehensive one-hour training includes:

  • Signs and symptoms
  • Risk factors
  • Naloxone (Narcan) administration

Monthly Trainings

Virtual Trainings for Groups

The health department offers free one-hour overdose prevention and response trainings to a variety of groups, including businesses, medical professionals, community organizations, active users, and student groups.

Trainings are appropriate for all groups interested in learning more about overdose prevention and encouraged for those who are likely to witness an overdose.
