Curbside compost pickup is a great way to reduce trash while turning food scraps into clean energy and fertilizer. In fact, in just one year we composted 1900 tons of food scraps and reduced trash by 7% citywide.

Following this success, the City of Cambridge is expanding curbside composting to residential buildings with 13 or more units that receive City trash collection.
