Curbside compost pickup is a great way to reduce trash while turning food scraps into clean energy and fertilizer. In fact, in just one year we composted 1900 tons of food scraps and reduced trash by 7% citywide.

Following this success, the City of Cambridge is expanding curbside composting to residential buildings with 13 or more units that receive City trash collection.

Join us for an Information Session to discuss best practices and answer your questions:

  • Wednesday, June 12, 6–7 pm:  Citywide Senior Center, 806 Mass Ave, Ballroom
  • Wednesday, June 19, 10–11 am:  Russell Youth Center, 680 Huron Ave, Community Room
  • Wednesday, June 19, 6–7 pm:  Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center, 41 Second Street, Theater
