Description

       Community Meeting Notice

Riedesel Ave

Wednesday, May 30th

Meet on site at 6:30pm to review plans & discuss resident concerns

Dear Neighbor,

Riedesel Ave (Brattle to Brewster) is scheduled for street and sidewalk reconstruction in 2018.

On Wednesday, May 30th at 6:30pm, the Community Development Department and the Department of Public Works will be hosting a meeting on site to review the current proposed plans (available under the Documents tab at www.CambridgeMA.gov/BrewsterRiedesel) and discuss residents’ concerns.

The goal of this meeting is to finalize a design that provides an accessible sidewalk, as much greenspace as possible, and works for the community.  By meeting on site, City staff can walk the street with residents and look at each frontage individually.

Prior to the meeting, City staff will mark out the minimum 4' width sidewalk on each side of Riedesel Ave as well as the proposed curb extensions shown on the latest plan.  These markings will help facilitate discussion during the on site meeting and should not be taken as an indication of the final plan.
