Description

Many food businesses increase their resilience and odds of success by incorporating other sales channels to supplement revenue and make the most out of space. This workshop will provide an overview of these alternatives, including benefits and pitfalls to look out for, and will offer take-home templates for how to evaluate an opportunity. Time will be spent discussing items including but not limited to: pop-up locations, partnerships with non-food companies, delivery services and 3rd party caterers, and e-commerce. This workshop will be led by Commonwealth Kitchen, Greater Boston’s leading commercial kitchen incubator and accelerator, which supports food businesses through their membership commercial kitchen space and expert training.

Priority will be given to Cambridge residents and businesses, participants in the Cambridge Food Truck Program, and women and minority-owned food business. Free to participants

The City of Cambridge does not discriminate on the basis of disability. The city will provide auxiliary aids and services, written materials in alternative format and responsible modifications in policies and procedures to qualified individuals with disabilities upon request.
