Join Lamplighter, the Cambridge Public Library, and All She Wrote Books for our virtual book club, where we celebrate contemporary fiction from new voices.

Please register here.

You’re invited to the fifth session of our book club, where Lamplighter Brewing Co., the Cambridge Public Library, and All She Wrote Books (Somervile, MA) team up to highlight contemporary works from marginalized voices. This month, we’ll read Butter Honey Pig Bread by Francesca Ekwuyasi. This novel spans three continents to tell the interconnected stories of three women of the African Diaspora, with hints of magic and of queerness.

We'll meet over Zoom to discuss, and taste beer, at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 13. We'll send you the link to that on Monday, April 12.

A limited number of this month's book, Butter Honey Pig Bread, are set aside at the Main Library at 449 Broadway and can be picked up during current contactless pickup hours. The book is also available as an e-book through Hoopla (or the Hoopla app) using a Minuteman Network library card.
