Description

Rescheduled from October 27.

Dress up in your best Halloween costume, decorate your bike, and join us for an afternoon of spooky family-friendly bike fun! Activities will include:

  • Costume parade and contest (registration at 12:30 and start time is 1:00)
  • Obstacle challenge
  • Bike skill coaching
  • Demonstrations of family-friendly bikes, including cargo bikes

Activities are geared toward children under 10 but all ages are welcome to join! The half-mile parade will start at Corporal Burns Park at 1 PM sharp and travel along Memorial Drive, which will be closed to car traffic. Winner of the best costume will receive a prize!

Sponsored by the Cambridge Bicycle Committee with special thanks to Bicycle Belle, Crimson Bikes, and Cargo Bikes of Camberville. The Cambridge Police Department will also be on hand with safety information and helmets for children who do not have them!

The event will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain. Updates will be posted to cambridgema.gov/bikerides.
