Description

The City is issuing The Port Preparedness Plan, a neighborhood scale plan for climate change preparedness and resilience for The Port.  The neighborhood plan is part of the development of the Citywide Climate Change Preparedness and Resilience Plan.

The public meeting will involve an open house for the first part and a panel discussion for the second part on what climate change means to The Port and what we should do about it.  The open house will involve stations where attendees can learn more about the plan and related topics like emergency preparedness, clean energy, and other issues.

Food, free childcare, and translation services in Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Portuguese will be available.

The Port Preparedness Plan will be available on the CCPR website.  Comments are invited and should be submitted to John Bolduc, jbolduc@cambridgema.gov or sent in writing to John Bolduc, Community Development Department, 344 Broadway, Cambridge, MA  02139.
