The City's Domestic and Gender Based Violence Prevention Initiative and Transition House are hosting this discussion forum to explore cultural dynamics, current challenges, and promising practices in addressing domestic violence in Kenya and India as well as survivors from those countries living in the U.S. This event will feature local and international domestic violence prevention and response specialists from: the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence, the Queer South Asian Collective, the Rose Foundation & Saheli. This program is free and will include a light dinner.
