1/16/2019 7:27 p.m. There will be emergency demolition work that will begin tonight, January 16, beginning at approximately 8pm.  This work is to demolish the fire damaged building at the corner of Cambridge Street and Hunting Street. The demolition is expected to be completed by midnight, however, crews will be working into the early morning to secure and cover the site. No debris will be removed this evening. Residents can expect the area to be illuminated and noise from machinery conducting the work. The Cambridge Fire Department, Inspectional Services, and the Department of Public Works will be on scene. If you have questions about this emergency demolition, please call the emergency communications center at 617-349-3300. Since the building is unsafe it has be removed immediately.

Description

The Government Operations, Rules and Claims Committee will conduct a public hearing to discuss the Policy Order adopted regarding Cambridge publicly financed Municipal Election Program and the Cambridge Municipal People's Pledge Program.

This Hearing will be Televised
