Description

The Cambridge Biosafety Committee meets on a monthly basis so that members may conduct its oversight activities as granted under the Cambridge Recombinant DNA Technology Ordinance (Chapter 8.20) and the Cambridge Biosafety Regulation of 2009.

Beam Therapeutics (Charlie Liu) will request a new BSL-1//BSL-2 permit for their facility 21 Erie Street (new Mass Innovations Laboratory location)

Biogen Idec (Betsy Parson) will present an amendment request for large-scale production (up to 50-liters) at their currently permitted BSL-1/BSL-2 facility at 250 Binney Street

Rheos Medicines with co-located  labs Casma and Cedillo will request a BSL-1/BSL-2for their proposed facility at 38 Sidney Street
