Description

Join us for a community conversation with local leaders and public health experts as we explore why and how COVID-19 has exacerbated racial health disparities in communities of color. We will delve into the local effects while examining the overall racially disproportionate impact of the pandemic.

We will be joined by Suffolk 5th District State Representative Liz Miranda, City of Cambridge Chief Public Health Officer Claude A. Jacob, and BU School of Public Health Associate Dean of Practice, Dr. Craig Andrade, Special guest Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley will provide closing remarks.

The conversation will be hosted by the Men of Color Task Force and will be moderated by Richard Harding. The program is sponsored by the Men of Color Task Force, the Men’s Health League, and the Cambridge Public Health Department.
