The DPW Road Show is a chance for kids to get close to and learn about the working vehicles that collect trash, plow snow, do construction, clean drains, and prune trees.

This year, Cambridge Public Works is excited to join public works departments from across New England to collect food and household goods to support local food banks. The “Fill-A-Public Works Truck Food Drive” will take place during the Road Show and the Annual Cookout and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, May 23rd. We hope attendees will bring what they can to help fill the truck!

Please note: The Road Show is open to all, but is primarily geared towards children ages 2-6.  Given the large crowds expected, caretakers bringing groups of more than 6 children are asked to call ahead to reserve a 30 minute time slot.

For information and reservations, please contact Sherry McGregor at DPW: (617) 349-4874 or email smcgregor@cambridgema.gov

We hope to see you there!
