Better Balance with Fall Prevention Strategies
With Mary DeCourcey, Mount Auburn Hospital

This interactive presentation is a combination of fall prevention strategies and how to build better balance for all.
Learn about your risks for falling in order to reduce your risk. Strategies to improve your balance will be discussed. Some exercises will be introduced at the end of the session for participants to practice at home to improve strength and balance.
Participants will leave the presentation with strategies they can take with them and incorporate into everyday living.
This is a virtual presentation and a Zoom link will be sent to you after registration is confirmed.

Mary has been working in the Community Health Department at Mount Auburn Hospital for over ten years. Her work has involved developing community collaborations and health education programming to improve the health and wellbeing of community members. She has been facilitating the evidenced based and award-winning program, “A Matter of Balance” ® for over 8 years and is also trained as a Master Trainer.
This presentation was developed by Mount Auburn Hospital.
