Building on the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Mt. Auburn Corridor Study, the City plans to implement priority bus lanes and transit signal priority to encourage greater use of public transit, cycling, and walking. These changes are intended to improve safety and reduce congestion, making the street better for everyone. After Boston University Professor Will Lautzenheiser is diagnosed with a life-threatening bacterial infection, doctors are forced to amputate his arms and legs to save his life. Over time, Will learns to cope through stand-up comedy, but, when he hears of an experimental transplant surgery, he is determined to take part. The documentary chronicles four years of Will’s life as an amputee as he becomes the third patient to undergo a double-arm transplant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
