Primary Program Activities:
Introduces students to the world of robotics using a humanities first approach. Students use the design process to understand the daily challenges of people with disabilities. A substantial amount of course time is spent meeting people with disabilities and participating in exercises to develop an understanding of and empathy for the challenges that they face. Students define relevant problems that they would like to address, explore potential solutions and ultimately build robotic prototypes demonstrating their solutions. Skills learned include human-centered design, coding, 3D-modeling and more.
Ages Served: Open to students 13 and older.
Genders Served: An equal number of boys and girls will be accepted.
Eligibility: Students interested in Design, Science, Technology and Entrepreneurship. No more than 2 excused absences allowed.

Transportation: Students and/or their parents can arrange transportation from CPS Upper Schools to CRLS on an after-school bus. Must check with their school Clerk/front office to make arrangements.

1. 29 Charles Street – Removal of 19.7” Zelkova for private property development and streetscape improvements. Location will be replanted.
The tree(s) identified above have been posted for public inspection. Any objections to their removal must be submitted in writing to the City Arborist, prior to or during the hearing.
