Have you had your green card for 5 or more years, or 3 if married to a U.S. citizen? If so, you may be eligible to become a U.S. citizen! Come attend a FREE info session at the Central Branch of the Cambridge Public Library to learn more about the process of applying for citizenship. Benefits of citizenship include the right to vote, eligibility for certain federal educational scholarships, and priority when petitioning for family members to immigrate. This info session will be run by Project Citizenship, a non-profit organization that provides free legal assistance to permanent residents on their pathway to citizenship.
