Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art combining elements of dance, acrobatics, and music developed by enslaved Africans in Brazil. It is popular in Massachusetts thanks to the work of the Sinha Capoeira, a Massachusetts-based NGO, committed to promoting this art form. Join Mestre Chuvisquinho, Artistic Director of Sinha Capoeira, in a workshop at the CPL.
