    • Dead In Good Company (Collins)

Collins Branch, 64 Aberdeen Ave., Cambridge, MA 02138

Do you think you’re too old to accomplish big goals? At the age of 68, John Harrison authored a lifelong dream as co-creator of Dead in Good Company, a collection of essays, poems and photographs dedicated to Mount Auburn Cemetery. Can photography teach life lessons? While watching wildlife through a Canon lens, Kim Nagy found new ways to manage old problems, as she went through a tough personal challenge. In this inspiring talk, John & Kim will describe their journey of how Dead in Good Company came to be, and reveal the abundant photographic opportunities that await you in Cambridge’s best gated wildlife community. John Harrison Founded Epilog Enterprises, a book distribution company, in 1975. His photographs have been published by Mass Audubon, the Humane Society of the United States, and Project Coyote in CA, and have appeared in books, calendars, magazines, newspapers, and websites. He lectures on nature and wildlife at elementary schools and to senior citizen groups. He has been writing the Medford Wildlife Watch blog for The Medford Transcript newspaper since 2009. Kim Nagy has made the natural world both her profession and her hobby. She is an avid wildlife and nature photographer, and travels widely in pursuit of her craft. She works as a regional sales manager in the natural foods industry, covering the East Coast & Midwest. Her photos have appeared in National Geographic's Daily Dozen, BirdWatching, The BirdNote calendar, several publications of the Massachusetts Audubon Society, The Marco Review, and others.
