Schwartz has traveled widely to find people who are successfully restoring healthy soil and water ecosystems. She will talk with Nicola Williams about her books Cows Save the Planet and Water in Plain Sight, and a forthcoming book about the global ecosystem restoration movement. Presented as part of Horizons: Exploring Breakthroughs in Science & Technology and Their Impact on Society, a lecture series of the STEAM Initiative at the Cambridge Public Library. Please register below for this free public lecture. WGBH will be recording this event, and when the archived video is available, we will be posting it on the Library's Horizon's series page.
