She has performed with the Boston Youth Symphony and NEC’s Youth Philharmonic, and has also attended BU’s Tanglewood Institute and the Vancouver Symphony’s Orchestral Institute. At her former high school, Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, she founded the Chamber Music Collaboration. Currently, she leads the Greater Boston Music Outreach and works in the Boston Symphony's Education and Community Engagement Department. Muzanenhamo was born in Lusaka, Zambia and raised on a farm in Zimbabwe. He has studied in the Netherlands, France and the United Kingdom. His poems have been widely published in numerous international journals and broadcast on radio and television. His first collection, Spirit Brides (2006), was shortlisted for the Jerwood Alderburg First Collection Prize, his second collection, Gumiguru (2014), was shortlisted for the Glenna Luschei Prize for African Poetry and his third book, Textures ( 2014 -in collaboration with John Eppel) won the National Arts and Merit Awards for Literature. Muzanenhamo lives with his partner and children in Zimbabwe. This event is co-sponsored by the New England Poetry Club.
