Free, after-school program for 7th and 8th graders. Introduces students to the world of robotics using a humanities-first approach.
Students start with questions such as “How Might We Use Robotics to to support people with disabilities?” They then build robotic prototypes to address these problems.

Children of all ages and their caregivers are invited for an afternoon of musical performance and exploration!
Mai Nguyen (18) is a flutist from Cambridge, MA, currently taking a gap year. She has performed with the Boston Youth Symphony and NEC’s Youth Philharmonic, and has also attended BU’s Tanglewood Institute and the Vancouver Symphony’s Orchestral Institute. At her former high school, Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, she founded the Chamber Music Collaboration. Currently, she leads the Greater Boston Music Outreach and works in the Boston Symphony's Education and Community Engagement Department. Besides music, Mai enjoys painting, cooking, and writing.

This information session will help explain what the Census means for you as well as a timeline of what to expect and what you need to do to make sure you, your family, and others are counted in the 2020 US Census. The US Census determines congressional representation and federal funding we all rely on, but did you know that Cambridge receives approximately $2,000 per resident, per year based off the US Census? Completing your US Census form impacts funding for programs that affect you and your family like education and childcare, public transportation, affordable housing, healthcare, and food assistance programs.
