      Borrow a bag of pre-selected library books for your kids and teens! Drop by this pop-up event outside your neighborhood branch and pick up a bag of 3-5 library books for your young readers. Title selections will be curated by Cambridge Public Library Youth Services Librarians. Please wear a face covering and maintain 6 feet of distance between yourself, Library Staff, and other patrons. Bins will also be available for library returns.

      Join author Daniel Ford for a special virtual Writer’s Bone podcast recording in concert with the Cambridge Public Library on July 27 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The episode will feature crime and mystery writers John Vercher, Barbara Ross, and, Edwin Hill, Ford’s Noir at the Bar cohost. The panel will discuss why they decided to write crime fiction, some of the things they’ve learned from readers, their upcoming projects, and more. John Vercher is the author of the highly acclaimed and award-nominated Three-Fifths. Barbara Ross, author of the Maine Clambake Mystery series, just published her new Jane Darrowfield mystery series. Edwin Hill is the scribe of the Hester Thursby series and the next installment, titled Watch Her, is due out in December.
