    • Summer Reading: Pineapple Project

      Online,

      Enjoy a fun and engaging original show that explores gender, creativity, and each child's freedom to be who they are. Recommended for children ages 4-8. We invite children and their grownups to join us from home for a live show presented on Zoom. Register below. Zoom link will be emailed to registrants one hour before the program begins. Virtual Summer Reading Programs are free and open to the public and are not recorded. If you register but later find you cannot attend, please remember to cancel your registration to make space for others. Summer Reading is sponsored by the Cambridge Public Library Foundation, Friends of the Cambridge Public Library, East Cambridge Savings Bank, the Massachusetts Library System, the Boston Bruins, and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

    • Kids Books to Go (Valente)

      Valente Branch, 826 Cambridge St., Cambridge, MA 02141

      Borrow a bag of pre-selected library books for your kids and teens! Drop by this pop-up event outside your neighborhood branch and pick up a bag of 3-5 library books for your young readers. Title selections will be curated by Cambridge Public Library Youth Services Librarians. Please wear a face covering and maintain 6 feet of distance between yourself, Library Staff, and other patrons. Bins will also be available for library returns.
