      We are now accepting returns of any Minuteman Library Network materials at the O'Connell Branch, generally Tuesdays and Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Leave your items in the Book Drop, located near the entrance to the parking lot on Thorndike Street. It may take up to one week for items to be removed from your card. During the COVID-19 crisis, no overdue fines are being charged on any materials checked out of Cambridge Public Library locations. You may also return any Minuteman Library Network materials via the Main Library outside book drop (available 24/7). We are also offering limited return hours at other branch locations, subject to scheduling changes. You’re invited to the fifth session of our book club, where Lamplighter Brewing Co., the Cambridge Public Library, and All She Wrote Books (Somervile, MA) team up to highlight contemporary works from marginalized voices. This month, we’ll read Butter Honey Pig Bread by Francesca Ekwuyasi. This novel spans three continents to tell the interconnected stories of three women of the African Diaspora, with hints of magic and of queerness. We'll meet over Zoom to discuss, and taste beer, at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 13. We'll send you the link to that on Monday, April 12. A limited number of this month's book, Butter Honey Pig Bread, are set aside at the Main Library at 449 Broadway and can be picked up during current contactless pickup hours. The book is also available as an e-book through Hoopla (or the Hoopla app) using a Minuteman Network library card.
