      We are now accepting returns of any Minuteman Library Network materials at the O'Connell Branch, generally Tuesdays and Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Leave your items in the Book Drop, located near the entrance to the parking lot on Thorndike Street. It may take up to one week for items to be removed from your card. During the COVID-19 crisis, no overdue fines are being charged on any materials checked out of Cambridge Public Library locations. You may also return any Minuteman Library Network materials via the Main Library outside book drop (available 24/7). We are also offering limited return hours at other branch locations, subject to scheduling changes.     • Net Zero Task Force Meeting 4

      The Net Zero Action Plan, Cambridge’s climate action plan for buildings adopted in 2015, is being reviewed to respond to current scientific, policy, technology, and equity considerations. A Task Force of community stakeholders has been appointed by the City Manager to inform this review process and recommend potential changes to the Plan. During this fourth of five meetings, Task Force members will share the action adjustment proposals developed during the working group meetings and the full group will work to consider and prioritize these proposals.

Some previous titles include: When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times by Pema Chödrön, 10% Happier by Dan Harris, and Advice Not Given by Mark Epstein. How to get the print book: Copies of the print book are set aside at the Main Library. Visit the Main Library at 449 Broadway during current contactless pickup hours and a staff member can help you check out a copy. How to get the e-book or digital audiobook: This month's book is available as both an e-book and digital audiobook through Hoopla (or the Hoopla app). How to register: Registration is required.
