    • Cambridge COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic

      Cambridgeside in East Cambridge

      No appointment is required, and you do not need insurance, an ID, or a social security number to get the vaccine.

      We are now accepting returns of any Minuteman Library Network materials at the O'Connell Branch, generally Tuesdays and Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Leave your items in the Book Drop, located near the entrance to the parking lot on Thorndike Street. It may take up to one week for items to be removed from your card. During the COVID-19 crisis, no overdue fines are being charged on any materials checked out of Cambridge Public Library locations. You may also return any Minuteman Library Network materials via the Main Library outside book drop (available 24/7). We are also offering limited return hours at other branch locations, subject to scheduling changes. Please check the library calendar or call the Main Library at 617-349-4040 for up-to-date information on return hours at all locations.

      We invite children and their grownups to join us from home for 20-25 minutes of songs, stories, and rhymes. Caregivers are asked to participate in the program with their children--it will be as important as ever to model movement and song for your little one during this virtual session. Virtual Family Story Time is free and open to the public and is not recorded. If you register but later find you cannot attend, please remember to cancel your registration to make space for others.

    • River Street Working Group Meeting #11 with remote participation

      This eleventh meeting of the River Street Reconstruction working group will be held with remote participation using Zoom webinar. Visit http://www.cambridgema.gov/riverstreet for updates. All Working Group meetings are open to the public. At this meeting, the project team will summarize public feedback from the virtual public meeting in late 2020. We will also share how the River Street design has changed in response to the public feedback. The project team will focus on providing updates about the design of Tubman Square and Carl Barron Plaza.
