    • Beginner ESOL Class (Central Square)

      Central Square Branch, 45 Pearl St., Cambridge, MA 02139

      Join us for an English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Class. This class will be taught at an introductory level. No testing is needed, but registration is required. This will be an in-person class. For more information call Maria Balestrieri at 617-349-4013.

    • Outdoor Story Time (O'Connell) - At Silva Park

      O'Connell Branch, 48 Sixth St., Cambridge, MA 02141

      We invite children and their grown-ups to join us for 15-20 minutes of songs, stories and rhymes. Programs will be held in Silva Park (on the corner of Sciarappa and Otis).     • Cambridge Flu Clinic (Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster also Available)

      Reservoir Church, 170 Rindge Ave (North Cambridge)

      Cambridge Public Health Department strongly recommends that residents get a flu vaccine this season. Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines and boosters will also be available at these clinics. .

      Join us to celebrate the completion of the O'Connell Library Pocket Park

    • Hive Safety Training and Glowforge 101 (Main)

      Main Library, 449 Broadway, Cambridge, MA 02138

      Are you interested in using The Hive? In this workshop you will learn about our makerspace, how to utilize the resources we offer and how to keep safe in The Hive. You will also create your Hive badge ID using our Glowforge laser cutter and learn how to utilize this piece of equipment to cut and engrave your own creations. Find out what you need to get started as a maker in The Hive here. Completion of Hive Safety Training is the entry point to making, innovating, and collaborating in this space. Makers must also sign The Hive User Agreement and Waivers.

    • Conservation Commission Site Walk at One Alewife Center

      One Alewife Center (meet in parking lot)

      The Cambridge Conservation Commission will conduct a site walk associated with the IQHQ Redevelopment and Restoration Notice of Intent. The public is welcomed to attend.
