      The City of Cambridge is offering COVID-19 vaccine booster clinics by appointment only for eligible people aged 18 and older who live or work in Cambridge.

    • Outdoor Story Time (Central Square)

      Central Square Branch, 45 Pearl St., Cambridge, MA 02139

      Join us for a half-hour of stories in the plaza outside the Central Square Branch Library, Franklin Street side, weather permitting. For ages birth-5 with caregivers. Following the City of Cambridge's guidance on public gatherings, all Outdoor Story Time attendees over the age of two must wear a mask and physically distance.

      Music. Movement. Story. Join your librarians outside for 15 minutes of fun! Children of all ages and their grown-ups. This program will be held in Joan Lorentz Park on the lawn outside the Main Library. In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled. Please call 617-349-4038 for more information. Following the City of Cambridge's guidance on public gatherings, all Outdoor Story Time attendees over the age of two must wear a mask and physically distance. No registration is required.       We invite children and their grownups to join us from home for 20-25 minutes of songs, stories, and rhymes. Caregivers are asked to participate in the program with their children--it will be as important as ever to model movement and song for your little one during this virtual session. Plan to join in, sing along, and move around! Register below. Zoom link will be emailed to registrants one hour before the program begins. Virtual Family Story Time is free and open to the public and is not recorded. If you register but later find you cannot attend, please remember to cancel your registration to make space for others.
