    • Baby Lapsit (Virtual)

      Just for you and the baby! Enjoy time together with other parents, caregivers, and babies to learn, play, and develop language and motor skills. Come prepared to sit one-on-one with your baby in your lap. Register below. Zoom link will be emailed to registrants one hour before the program begins. Virtual Baby Lapsit is free and open to the public and is not recorded. If you register but later find you cannot attend, please remember to cancel your registration to make space for others.

    • Outdoor Songs and Stories (O'Neill)

      O'Neill Branch, 70 Rindge Ave., Cambridge, MA 02140

      Put on your dancing shoes and head over for a morning of singing and dancing! We'll sing and move together, and share a story or two. For children of all ages and their grown-ups. This program will be held outside of the O'Neill Branch Library. In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled. Following the City of Cambridge's guidance on public gatherings, all Outdoor Songs and Stories attendees over the age of two must wear a mask and physically distance.     • Wellness for Seniors: Low Impact Fitness (Virtual)

      This class is designed for people of all levels ot strengthen the muscles, the heart and the brain--all while having fun and moving to great music! Come as you are and take everything at your own pace. You will feel the benefits in mind and body! Registration for each session is required. This is a virtual event. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants 1 hour before the event.

      January Selection: The Splendid and the Vile: A Saga of Churchill, Family, and Defiance During the Blitz, by Erik Larsen Reading interests: We read and discuss popular non-fiction. Members will suggest and the facilitator will decide on future selections from titles available in the Minuteman Library Network. How to get the print book: Copies of the print book are set aside at the Main Library. Visit the Main Library at 449 Broadway during service hours and a staff member can help you check out a copy. How to get the e-book or digital audiobook: This month’s book is available as an e-book through OverDrive or the Libby app, and as a digital audiobook through OverDrive or the Libby app. How to register: Registration is required. Click the registration link below to register. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants 1 day before the event, and again 1 hour before the event.
