Ailene will review specific needs related to healthcare, community, and programs and resources available to support solo agers. Every other Thursday starting February 3, 2022, through June 9, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. (Virtual). This is a virtual event. A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants one hour before the event.

Innovators for Purpose (iFp) is a Cambridge-based nonprofit that inspires high-potential, diverse young people to discover their passions, develop innovative mindsets and cultivate marketable skills to solve problems they care most about.     • Homeira Qaderi Presents Dancing in the Mosque: An Afghan Mother's Letter to Her Son (A Bilingual Event)

      Join us for this bilingual reading and Q&A with Dr. Homeira Qaderi and Aria Aber! This event will include live translation from Persian to English, and questions can be asked in both languages. Qaderi’s Dancing in the Mosque is a mother’s searing letter to a son she was forced to leave behind. Qaderi describes the unimaginable choices she’s made as a mother in the face of oppression. Aria Aber is the recipient of a 2020 Whiting Award in Poetry and is currently a Wallace Stegner Fellow in Poetry at Stanford University. Her work is forthcoming or has appeared in The New Yorker, New Republic, Kenyon Review, The Yale Review, Poem-A-Day, Narrative, Muzzle Magazine, Wasafiri and elsewhere.
