This week we will be exploring public art and monuments.
Have you ever wanted to make art that spreads joy in a big way?
In this kids’ workshop, you’ll design a monument celebrating someone or something important to you! Who or what do you think is missing from Cambridge’s monuments?
Explore a variety of art materials and learn design strategies to bring your ideas to life with the exhibiting artist, Nicole Stone. We’ll provide art supplies like stencils, drawing tools, stamps, and colorful collage materials. Plus, you’ll get to meet the artist and teacher behind the “Monument Project” prints, which will be on display at the O’Neill Gallery in January.
