You must complete Hive Safety Training before registering for this workshop.

Learn to Bike is a free workshop for adults who have never ridden a bike before or who have not ridden in years. Participants will practice balancing, pedaling, steering, turning, and stopping safely in a supportive environment. Bicycles and helmets will be provided.

Join instructor Ellen DeGenova, at the main branch park, to explore Tai Chi elements (without the complicated choreography). Tai Chi offers highly adaptable and accessible ways of moving for everyone. Being outdoors and learning together inspires a sense of well-being and community. A seated option is available. No experience necessary. In case of inclement weather, class will be held in the library’s Community Room.

The Library is pleased to be working with dedicated community members to offer a special story time in Arabic! This program which will be conducted primarily in Arabic with the intention of helping young Arabic language learners to improve their skills. This program is suitable for children up to age 7.
Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis on the day of the program. The entire party must be present to receive a ticket. During Open Shop, anyone who has completed Hive training and is badged can reserve Hive equipment or studio spaces. Additionally, individuals are welcome to drop in to work on their projects independently. The Hive staff will assist with questions as they are able!
New makers are also welcome to come in during open shop for a 10min drop in video safety training!
