Riverbend Park to Open April 10

Cambridge City Manager Louis A. DePasquale and the Director of Traffic, Parking, and Transportation have been in discussions with MassDCR regarding Riverbend Park. The City Manager appreciates MassDCR's willingness to work with the City and is pleased to announce that Riverbend Park will be opening on April 10, 2021.

Beginning Saturday, April 10, 2021, and continuing through Sunday, November 28, 2021, weather permitting, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), in consultation with the City of Cambridge, will open Riverbend Park (close Memorial Drive) in the City of Cambridge from Western Avenue to Gerry's Landing Road on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for pedestrian and cyclist use. Traffic patterns will be clearly marked.
