The preliminary end-of-the-year figures for 2018 reveals a moderate increase of 3% recorded, with 81 additional serious crimes in Cambridge reported to the FBI, when compared with the final numbers counted for last year. When measured against the five-year average, a significant 9% drop in the crime index has been registered. This slight upturn in criminal activity comes on the heels of the 2017 crime statistic totals in the City, which were at their lowest level since 1960. Read More.
