Serious crime in Cambridge slipped downward by 24% when compared with 2012, and when measured against the 5-year weighted average for this time frame, a 19% decline has been recorded.
Over the past 4 weeks, there has been a 36% decline in Part I crimes with 80 fewer incidents having been reported.
For the first 2 months of 2013, both violent and property crime recorded sizable decreases in all comparisons: 4 week, year-to-date, and the 5-year average.
