For the first seven months of the year, there were 150 violent crimes recorded in Cambridge, 36 incidents below last year (-19%) and 21 fewer violent crimes (-12%) than the 171 incidents forecasted. Analysis of property crime totals for the first seven months of 2019 points to a 6% increase when measured against the 2018 total and a 5% reduction below the five-year average.
