Officers responded to a hit and run that occurred on Mass Ave. The suspect exited his motor vehicle and struck the involved party in the face and then fled the scene without exchanging information.

CAMBRIDGE ST
Carlton Brown, 54, 105 Park Road in Brockton, was placed under arrest for Assault and Battery on a Public Employee after he assaulted an Officer with the Cambridge Health Alliance. Brown arrived at a hospital emergency room parking lot and with his motor vehicle struck a parked motor vehicle. Brown then exited his motor vehicle and made no attempt to leave the damaged motor vehicle any of his personal or insurance information. After the attempting to speak with Brown to obtain his personal and insurance information, Brown became belligerent and refused to provide any information. He then charged at the officer and caused the officer to fall to the ground.

A Cambridge resident reported that her elderly aunt had personal checks stolen by an unknown person. Checks were fraudulently made out and cashed for a total amount of $930.

A Malden resident reported that he was assaulted by an unknown Asian male while at a shopping district. The victim was grabbed by the shirt and slapped. He further stated that the assault was unprovoked, and he did not know the male suspect.

Cambridge Police responded to the intersection of Broadway and Tremont Street for a motor vehicle crash versus a dog that was walking with his owner/pedestrian. The driver was issued a Failure to Yield, Crosswalk citation. There were no injuries.
