A Cambridge resident entered the police station to report that an unknown person had opened an account with a cable operator at an address in New Bedford under the reporting person’s name, which was fraudulent.

Officers responded to a Massachusetts Avenue business for the report of a larceny from a person. An investigation was conducted and, as a result, Joseph Brennick, 58, 240 Albany Street, Cambridge, was arrested for Receiving Stolen Property +$250 after he was located with the victim’s stolen property.
