An employee of a Cambridge business reported that approximately $10,000 was stolen from the company by a suspect(s) claiming to be the CEO.

MAGAZINE STREET

Officers responded for a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in a crosswalk at Putnam Avenue and Magazine Street. The driver of the vehicle was temporarily blinded by sun glare and remained on scene to assist the pedestrian until an ambulance arrived. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries to her arm and shoulder.

A resident of West Virginia reported his license plate stolen from the rear of his vehicle. The plate was taken between approximately 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on December 9 while the vehicle was parked on Alewife Brook Parkway.

A resident of Cambridge reported that an unknown person(s) had stolen items from him at a party on Mt. Auburn Street. The stolen belongings include a Washington driver’s license, a wallet containing debit and credit cards, and a jacket.

Officers responded to Bow Street for a report of a hit and run resulting in personal injury. The reporting party was exiting his vehicle when he was struck in the arm by a vehicle traveling on Massachusetts Avenue. The reporting party was assessed by ambulance personnel for minor injuries and did not require further medical treatment.
